Love and care are the thread that binds us all together.

ENROL TO VOTE

Our whānau. Our voice. Our future.

At the heart of Whānau Ora is the mana of whānau to determine their own path. Let’s carry that mana to the ballot box and speak up for the wellbeing of our whānau, our communities and generations to come.

Te Rangitāmiro

Every whānau deserves the opportunity to thrive.

At Te Rangitāmiro, we work alongside 51 Provider partners and 301 Kaiwhiriwhiri, as well as the communities they serve, to help make whānau aspirations a reality.

As the Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency for Te Tai Tokerau, Tāmaki Makaurau, Waikato, Hauraki and Tūwharetoa, we invest in trusted partnerships that place whānau at the centre. Together, we support approaches that recognise the strengths, aspirations and potential of every whānau.

Our role is not to deliver services directly. It is to enable the people and organisations closest to our communities to do what they do best, walking alongside whānau, building on their strengths, and supporting them to achieve the aspirations they have for themselves.

We believe lasting change is created through strong relationships, local knowledge, and community led solutions. By investing in providers, strengthening capability, and backing the people who walk alongside whānau every day, we help create the conditions for whānau to flourish.

As Dame Kahurangi Tariana Turia said:

"We are at the starting point of major transformation in the way services are designed and delivered, contracts are arranged and the way providers work together. But most of all we are at the starting point of our cultural transformation celebrating the power and potential of a whānau centred approach which will enable our people to flourish."

That vision continues to guide our mahi today.

Together, we are weaving stronger futures for whānau across our rohe.

Whakarewa 2026 brought together our Kaiwhiriwhiri at Tūrangawaewae Marae on 12–13 October to strengthen the people, practice and partnerships at the heart of Whānau Ora.

Across two days, we connected our Provider network from Te Tai Tokerau, Tāmaki Makaurau, Waikato, Hauraki and Tūwharetoa through inspiring kōrero, practical workshops and shared learning. See the magical moments captured below.

Relive the aroha, laughter and evening sparkle of Whiria Te Muka, our celebration of the incredible mahi our Kaiwhiriwhiri do alongside whānau every day. Watch the video highlights as we rolled out the red carpet and celebrated the people at the heart of Whānau Ora.
